According to the results of 2005 published by FIDER, the Association of Leasing Companies, Garanti Leasing, which realized a transaction volume of USD 4,263,000,000 in 2005 and 37,278 contracts in 2005 in the sector, has reached a transaction volume of USD 700,000,000 with 6,759 contracts. The market share of Garanti Leasing has reached 16.4% in terms of transaction volume and 18.1% in terms of number of contracts, and Garanti Leasing has ranked first in both categories among the leasing companies in Turkey.
According to the 2005 results, the sector grew by 46% in transaction volume, and 30% in number of contracts, whereas Garanti Leasing managed to increase its transaction volume by 105% and its number of contracts by 64% within the same period.
